YOUTH MINISTRY

Abstract

Rock of Ages Youth, better known as R.O.A.R, is a place where young people are moulded into becoming the future leadership of the church. The youth department exists to identify and develop individuals for the work of God. It uses the energy, innovation and spontinaiety of the young people to assist in implementing key activities of the church including spreading the good news to the surrounding community and outsiders (e.g. Being involved in Malihambe activities and representing the church at various forums outside AFM). The youth department exists to direct the energy of the young people and engage them in activities that assist in achieving the overall objectives of the church as well as spiritual connection with God. We encourage a healthy relationship with God and unyielding servitude to the church so as to cope with the consuming outside world.
